Life can be stressful, throw unexpected curveballs, or simply be difficult to navigate at times. I am here to truly listen and work collaboratively with you to help you regain your balance, and move forward with purpose and intention, even in the midst of challenges. I believe that in difficult times we can lose sight of our strengths and resources. Together we will explore the complexities of the challenges you face, as well as the values that you hold deeply. This awareness will help you set goals that work for you.
My background includes many years of working in education, and I am familiar with some of the challenges of big life transitions.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling from Providence Theological Seminary. My training is grounded in evidence-based, attachment-based and trauma-informed practices. My approach will integrate techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you move towards greater wellbeing and personal growth. As a committed Christian, I am also happy to integrate faith with those for whom that plays a significant role in their lives or struggles.
