Bethany Weber, Intern
Intern
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t knowing what to do, it’s understanding what’s happening beneath the surface. My role is to walk alongside you to explore the experiences, relationships, and beliefs that have shaped your story while also offering a compassionate space to help you navigate through seasons of uncertainty, grief, anxiety and transition.
I’m Bethany, and I’m currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Clinical Counselling at Tyndale University. I am passionate about creating a collaborative and empathetic space where you feel heard and empowered to grow. For those who desire it, I am also happy to incorporate Christ-centred counselling into our work together. My background in prayer ministry has shaped my understanding of how faith can provide a steady source of comfort and guidance, especially during difficult seasons.
I use an integrative approach to tailor our sessions so that the counselling is a good fit for your unique needs. I use tools and techniques from Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I am especially interested in supporting concerns related to anxiety, self-esteem, self-image, relational stress, and life transition.
Together, we can explore what’s shaping your thoughts, emotions, and identity, and move toward greater self-understanding and healing.
